I live in: Canton, N.C.

Degree: Major in Business Administration, Minor in Economics

I joined the Board in: Fall of 2024

Ways I support UNC Asheville: Former member of Bulldog Athletics Association Board, former member of Chancellor’s Staff Advisory Board, Student Success Coach, Our Turn To Play table sponsor, Bulldog Club Golf Classic tee sponsor, Dream level member of Bulldog Club.

My first job after graduation: Bank teller

The UNC Asheville class I enjoyed the most was: Management Science with Dr. Yearout

My family includes: My husband Jimmy, our son Jonathan, his wife Melissa, and our two grandsons, Jayce (8) and Merritt (6).

A special connection I have to UNC Asheville is: Receiving the Thomas D. Reynolds Alumni Award for Service to the University in 2015.

As a student, I was involved in: Baptist Student Union, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Management Club, College Republicans, Beta Gamma Sigma

The most significant change to the physical campus since I was a student: The Sherrill Center and The Woods Housing project

My favorite tradition at UNC Asheville: Homecoming

When this song comes on the radio, I think of college: Friends In Low Places

No. 1 tip to a fellow UNC Asheville grad who has lost touch with their alma mater: Come back to campus for a visit and just walk around and remember what a special place UNC Asheville is!
