October 17: Transfer Student Spooky Paint Night
Calling all transfer students on October 17! Bring yourself and some bravery for scary painting and free food from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Grotto.
October 18: Women's Soccer vs. Winthrop
Kick off the UNC Asheville Athletics’ “spooky season” Bulldog Blue Week with women's soccer. Wear orange to support cancer awareness. Game starts at 6 p.m. on Greenwood Field.
October 20: ACE Double Feature
Craving a thrilling movie under some fall leaves? Grab a blanket and head to the Blue Ridge Room in Highsmith Union for a double feature of Corpse Bride and Saw from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
October 20: “Not too Early” Halloween Volleyball Match
Grab a Halloween costume and lots of UNC Asheville spirit for the volleyball team’s “Halloween Party” during their match against Highpoint. Game starts at 6 p.m. in the Justice Gym.
October 21: ACE Halloween Dance
Dance! Free music! Halloween spirit! Costume or no costume, dance all that midterm energy out in the Highsmith Union Blue Ridge Room from 8 to 10 p.m.
October 21: “Puppoween” Men’s Soccer vs. Highpoint
Forget about Halloween, it’s almost “Puppoween!” Join the men’s soccer team in this unique event with free pizza for students. Game starts at 6 p.m. on Greenwood Field and don’t forget to get there early enough to grab a pizza slice.
October 24: Highsmith/ACE Halloween Nailed it
Love the baking show Nailed It? Make a debut in ACE’s own Halloween version of the show from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Highsmith Grotto. Or, stop by for the Halloween treats.
October 26: DIY Pumpkin Energy Bites
You may have carved a pumpkin, but have you made an energy bite out of the leftovers? Learn the recipe and get your Autumn cravings in Brown Dining Hall during lunch.
October 27: Highsmith Haunted After Dark
Highsmith wants you to arrive after dark for a “scary good time” with a séance show, costume contest, karaoke, trivia, crafts, treats, prizes, and more. Don’t miss this jackpot of Halloween events from 8:30-11 p.m.
October 31: Creepy Carnival Lunch
Beware Brown Dining Hall’s creepy carnival lunch on Halloween. Only enter if you want scary good Halloween treats and spirit.
