The Asheville Singers, UNC Asheville’s student vocal ensemble, made their first journey back to perform at the White House since the pandemic on December 11, 2022. This is the twelfth year the Asheville Singers have been invited to perform in the nation's capitol.
"It was a fantastic trip and performance in the White House," said Melodie Galloway, the ensemble's director and professor of music.
The performers were Kathyrn Ambrose (alum, class of 2022), Ian Black, Donovan Blackburn, Quinn Curtis-Warner, Jade Dillon, Annette Greene, Jason Leveille, Alex Loofboro, Cameron Martensen, Shannon Overman, Alex Parker, Will Rhodarmer, and Fox Stroud.
