Campus welcomes back its Bulldogs for the Spring 2025 semester

We welcomed back our Bulldogs for the Spring semester with two weeks of fun events, from sharing resources and building relationships among students.

Check out the highlights from this amazing kick off to the new year and new semester!

Bonfires, Therapy Dogs and Mason Jar Hot Chocolate

There were cozy options to provide an escape from the January chill!

Students could hang out around a fire and roast a marshmallow, make hot chocolate in a mason jar, cuddle with a therapy dog.

Career Center Study Hall and Syllabi & Spaghetti

Opportunities to get organized at the start of the semester abound! Students could get a plateful of pasta and learn some helpful organization tips at Syllabi & Spaghetti or find the Career Center for study hall hours.

Meet a Friend, Meet an Advisor

Students met potential new friends at Speed Friending, and connected with an Academic Advisor at First Day of Class tabling.

Pickleball, Virtual Racing and Breakdancing

There were chances for recreation both physical and virtual. On the courts, students tested their pickleball skills against faculty and staff.

In the state of the art E-Sports Center, they tried out the racing simulator and played their favorite games. In the dance studio, students learned some new moves at a Breakdancing class.

Student Involvement Fair

At the Student Involvement Fair, new students can stop by the tables of many campus extracurriculars, like the UNC Asheville Audubon Club, Ultimate Frisbee or Anime Club.
